Tullett Liberty Goes Live on 4th Story Platform

SAN FRANCISCO and LONDON, September 30, 2003 --

Tullett Liberty Goes Live on 4th Story Platform

4th Story, LLC, a premier provider of software that enables trading opportunities for broker-dealers and institutional investors, announced today that Tullett Liberty, one of the world's leading inter-dealer brokers, has gone live on 4th Story's platform for designing, testing, optimizing and hosting automated securities trading strategies.

London-based Tullett Liberty went live on 4th Story's 4S.Yellowstone software in August. The product is designed to accelerate time to market and minimize ongoing maintenance costs for trading firms that employ highly complex automated strategies.

4S.Yellowstone supports the development of trading strategies ranging from simple, single-position to complex, multiple-position trading strategies. It provides full transparency of the trading decision process regardless of asset class or type of input data (market data, fundamentals, calendar events, etc.).

"Tullett Liberty is one of the pre-eminent innovators among the world's top-tier inter-dealer brokers," said Steven Smith, Chief Executive Officer of 4th Story. "We are delighted to be selected by one of the most prominent leaders in the industry."

Mr. Smith noted that 4S.Yellowstone has been attracting significant interest from institutions on both the buyside and the sellside since it was released earlier this year.

"Traders need to test ideas and put them into practice as quickly as possible," Mr. Smith said. "4S.Yellowstone enables trading strategists to focus on strategies rather than infrastructure".

4S.Yellowstone preserves strategists' flexibility to write complex custom business logic and/or integrate it with other software. The product integrates tightly with third-party products such as Microsoft Excel, allowing Excel users to call strategies directly from their spreadsheets and monitor indicators and signals -- all in real-time.
